Monthly Survey: Would you like to participate in Relationships Australia’s quick, two-minute survey? Yes No thanks

Do you have a story to tell about adoption separation?

Stories of adoption experiences in Australia can be very difficult to find online, especially those from the forced adoption era. Relationships Australia South Australia’s Forced Adoption Support Services (FASS) will be producing an online video series about living with the effects of past adoption practices.
These vignettes will cover themes such as:
• Grief and loss
• Identity and belonging
• Family complexities
• Search and reunion
• Secrets and silences

If you are someone who has lost a child to adoption, or you are and adopted person/adoptee and would like to share your story, we would love to hear from you. Your participation can range from telling your story on camera to sharing your experience in an anonymous, nonidentifiable way.

We will be holding a short information session for this video project in April. If you are interested in being involved, please contact Nikki Hartmann, Manager Forced Adoption and Post Adoption Support Services, on 8245 8100.
