Relationships Australia (SA) is looking for up to 10 Adelaide area gamers who want to participate in paid consultancy work about online gaming through a program called Keep It Fun. The end game is to create an online or mobile widget/app/info source for gamers aged 12 to 17 to help them work out whether they’ve got game and are keeping it fun or whether their gaming habits are pwning them.
Participants will be paid $30 per hour for about 10 x 3 hour sessions, which occur over a 3-4 month period. Some sessions will be face to face meetings, some sessions will involve research on your own and other sessions will involve online collaboration.
In addition to being paid for your work, participants will be credited on the online or mobile resource created, a certificate of participation to use in a portfolio and a letter of reference for those who do outstanding work that can be used when applying for jobs, schools or scholarships (or any combination)!
We are NOT setting out to make a case that gaming is bad or good. Some of us are gamers. All of us want to see online gamers keep gameplay in the fun zone.
What we are looking for is creative thinkers who know and love gaming (please note: you will need a parent or guardian’s permission to be involved in this project).
