A public hearing for the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse will be held in Adelaide from 6 to 16 October, 2015. We will be live streaming these sessions and providing support for people to watch the hearing outside of the court setting. Everyone is welcome.
The public hearing will inquire into the experience of former child residents of former child residents of institutions operated by The Salvation Army (Southern Territory) between 1940 and 1990 in:
- Eden Park Boys’ Home, South Australia (Eden Park);
- Box Hill Boys’ Home, Victoria (Box Hill);
- Bayswater Boys’ Home, Victoria (Bayswater); and
- The Salvation Army Boys’ Home (also known as Hollywood Children’s Village), Nedlands, Western Australia (Nedlands).
